A small batch production of this Red offering the structure, poise & quality of Cabernet Sauvignon in its traditional style, much like a classic ‘Claret’ but with a touch more weight & strength. Grown in one of the most spectacular & untouched wine making regions in the Cape.
Application of a minimalist intervention style of winemaking, this wine is taught, grippy & masculine. Showing its best when decanted; leave to aerate & open up in order to offer those brooding Cassis notes & supple black forest gateaux undertones.
Drinking Style & Food Pairing:
- Given its youth, pair with something rich & fatty like Lamb or a well-seasoned T-bone steak, something with a bit of weight on it.
